Return, Exchange, and Refund Policy

At Maaribu, we take pride in the quality of our products and want to ensure your satisfaction. Please review our policy below for details on returns, exchanges, and refunds. All eligible returns are issued as store credit or a gift card only.

I. Eligibility for Returns and Exchanges

To qualify for a return or exchange:

  1. Returns and exchanges must be initiated within 10 days of purchase.
  2. Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition as received.
  3. The following items are final sale and not eligible for refund, return, or exchange:
    • Opened or used items
    • Shipping fees
    • Custom and special orders
    • Furniture
    • Opened bedding and linens
    • Services
    • Beauty products
    • Discounted and sale items. All discounted items are sold as-is.
  4. Large decor items are subject to inspection and may incur a restocking fee of up to 20%, depending on their condition upon return.


II. In-Store Purchases

Initiate the Return or Exchange Process

  1. Review the eligibility terms.
  2. Bring your items to return or exchange at the original store of purchase.

Refunds for Store Credit or Exchanges

  1. Returns will receive store credit for the original purchase amount.
  2. Exchanges can be made with in-stock items at the store.

III. Online Orders

Initiate the Return or Exchange Process

  1. Review the eligibility terms.
  2. Email info@maaribu.com with:
    • Order number
    • Reason for return
    • If damaged or defective: photos of the item and the shipping box
    • Specify if a return or exchange is needed.
  3. We will reply with return or exchange instructions.

Refunds for Store Credit

  • We must receive and inspect your returned items to process a refund or exchange.
  • Refunds are processed within 7 business days as a store credit.

Return or Exchange Shipping Costs

  • Customers are responsible for return or exchange shipping costs unless the item is defective or incorrect.
  • Customers may return or exchange the items at our 3402 Guadalupe St store free of charge.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, contact us at info@maaribu.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos of:

  • The damaged product
  • The packaging and shipping box.
