What To Expect
Corn husk is a natural fiber harvested at various times, and the appearance and texture will vary depending on the environment and drying process. Given this, pieces made with corn husk feature visible markings, such as streaking, gray specks and spots, and darker brown areas, as well as unique crinkles and folds throughout. These types of variation offer each piece its own character, which is why we love utilizing natural materials for our designs.

It can also be harvested in a range of hues, from light caramels to deep mahoganies, so the final color can depend on the batch. Finally, the result can be impacted by the staining/coloration process, leaving each item slightly different from the next, with some areas even appearing white.
